Confined Space Entry & Rescue

Confined Space Entry and Rescue classroom training is a full day course. Confined space entry runs from 8:00 to approximately 3:30 and the practical rescue add on begins where the entry course ends and is generally over by 5:00. A Confined Space Entry certificate is required by anyone entering a confined space as defined in the Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.

Practical rescue training is an add on and may be required by your employer or work location. If rescue is required, full length pants and closed toe shoes must be worn. In this course a variety of teaching strategies are used to facilitate learning, including discussion, guides/manuals, overheads, video and emergency breathing equipment, and practical entry and rescue experience. At the conclusion of each course and after the exam, participants will be able to apply the knowledge and skills learned. Training certificates are issued after successful completion of the course. Certificates are valid for three years.

OSSA Confined Space certification available upon request on behalf of MI Safety (for groups only).
